This is called the "Olympic Village" because these (now) residential condos were the dorms for the olympic athletes during the winter games held in Vancouver a while back. I found little to tell us about the history of the area, which is a pity. However, unless you are very athletic, you want a stop or two as you wend your way around False Creek.
